ICS Research Assistant Jobs in Kenya

ICS Research Assistant Jobs in Kenya; The Research Assistants will support the baseline assessment, an internal learning and programme management exercise intended to establish a shared understanding of the initial situation at the start of the current implementation phase. They will collect both quantitative and qualitative data to assess participants’ knowledge, attitudes, and practices across thematic areas.

Responsibilities

Conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection in line with established methodologies.

Carry out interviews, focus group discussions, and surveys with beneficiaries and stakeholders.

Transcribe qualitative data accurately and efficiently.

Organize and manage collected data to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Attend training workshops for Research Assistants.

Maintain clear and organized documentation of all research activities.

Participate in debrief meetings after data collection.

Protect project equipment and ensure it is safe and accounted for.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Research Supervisor.

Skills & Competencies

Strong written and oral communication in English and Kiswahili.

Proficiency in local languages an added advantage.

Excellent interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
