Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• This position will be overall responsible for designing and leading in implementing strategies to improve HIV testing, care and treatment for key populations at high risks of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections, in line with national guidelines

• Will be responsible for managing an ongoing KP program and ensure that the program achieves its
objectives and meets ICRHK and donor standards

• Overall supervision of clinical staff, community mobilizers and peer educators at supported sites to ensure the provision of high-quality, stigma-free, non-discriminatory sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services

• Prepare activity, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to be sent to the donors and various other stakeholders

• Conduct capacity building for Peer Educators, staff and Community Based Organizations.

• Develop programmatic work plans in line with the project’s activities

• Ensures timely financial and management accountability of all activities within the program by providing all necessary documentation required.

• Support the Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor in data review, data interpretation and data consumption
for decision making

• Plan, coordinate with M& E department and ensure appropriate and timely delivery of reports to donors

Specific Requirements

• Degree in a clinical discipline (Medicine, Nursing,
or Clinical Medicine)

• At least one-year experience post internship for MBChB or MD or 5 years’ experience for those with a
diploma in clinical medicine or nursing

• Experience in HIV/AIDS service delivery, specifically in ART provision

• Experience in study coordination and field supervision or research

• Knowledge of basic office packages with proficiency in analytical packages and proficiency in Excel is a
MUST

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and over long hours

• Good oral and written communication skills in Kiswahili and English.

• Certified to work in Good Clinical Practices environment is an added advantage

• Registration with relevant regulatory bodies
