ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks a Project Coordinator - Faith-Based Community Initiatives to be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The incumbent will be responsible to provide technical assistance and supportive supervision on Faith Community Initiatives to Technical Officers, Field Officers and regional teams working in Geita and Mwanza where activities will be implemented.

S/he will work with the Director of Preventive Services to design, implement, and monitor programs and oversee the programmatic roll-out of FCI for ICAP in line with PEPFAR guidance. S/he will also monitor the implementation of FCI activities by Faith Based Organization under service agreements.

The incumbent must possess a bachelor degree in Religious, Social or Community Development studies and minimum of 4 years’ experience working with Faith-based organizations and donor funded programs.

A Master’s degree in public health or a degree in a medical field will be an added advantage. S/he must have experience working with faith leaders and managing teams of more than 10 staff with strong commitment to PEPFAR/CDC mission; deep understanding of the needs of faith communities and the Tanzania religious climate. Must have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in both English and Kiswahili.
