Hydraulic and Electrical Technician Jobs in Isinya Kajiado County

Astral Industries Limited a leading manufacturer of Plastic Molded Tanks, Pressed Steel Tanks, Steel Structures, Fuel Tanks, Hot Water Cylinders, General Fabricator and regular service maintenance.

Astral Industries Limited was established in 2004 and is currently 15 years old with more than 500 distributors all over Kenya is seeking a Hydraulic and Electrical Technician.

This position will report to the General Manager and will have the responsibility of building/wiring electrical and hydraulic systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

Install, maintain and repair hydraulic systems

Read blueprints while diagnosing problems

Perform preventative maintenance of hydraulic systems

Perform welding, metal fabrication and electrical assembly

Provide drawing review and suggestions related to part inspection and testing

Use computers to investigate and repair hydraulic equipment

Reassemble machines and equipment

Read dials and meters to analyze parts performance

Operate machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate experimental parts for testing

Read, follow, and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Build and wire electrical and hydraulic systems.

Install and test systems in the field.

Field

wiring, involves heights and travel. Assist in system start up.

Knowledge and Experience

Good communication and organizational skills.

Computer literacy with Microsoft Office software applications.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Cooperative attitude toward co-workers and management.

Experience of 3 years as a Hydraulic and Electrical Technician

Education and Certification

BSC Mechanical Engineering or Higher Diploma in Engineering
