Humanity & Inclusion Logistics Specialist Jobs in Rwanda



Job Purpose

  • Strengthen logistics capacities and skills across programmes.

  • Act as a coach and business referent for Regional and Country Logistics Managers.

  • Ensure compliance, risk management, and quality standards in logistics operations.

    Responsibilities

    Capacity Development

  • Contribute to development and deployment of logistics standards (including LINK).

  • Coach logistics managers and support problem‑solving.

  • Facilitate trainings and peer‑to‑peer exchanges.

  • Assess skills of logistics managers.

  • Disseminate donor compliance rules.

  • Contribute to recruitment of logistics managers.

    Strategy & Management

  • Support RLM/CLM in monitoring logistics risk mapping and corrective action plans.

  • Conduct diagnostic missions and issue alerts.

  • Advise on logistics and operational strategies, action plans, and indicators.

  • Analyze dashboards, identify deviations, and support corrective actions.

    Compliance & Optimization (Control Tower)

  • Collect KPIs and provide analytics.

  • Analyze risks (fraud, theft, corruption, accidents).

  • Alert relevant departments and recommend corrective actions.

  • Ensure supply management controls.

  • Perform quality audits and supplier screening.

  • Monitor and process alerts on logistics fraud and theft.

    Standards & Accountability

  • Contribute to development and revision of logistics frameworks.

  • Deploy logistics projects with RLM/CLM and ensure compliance.

  • Advise on programme organization charts and
    team composition.

  • Ensure compliance with logistics policy and standards.

  • Support deployment of anti‑fraud, anti‑terrorism, environmental, and safeguarding policies.

    Emergency Preparedness & Response

  • Train teams on emergency preparedness.

  • Adapt working methods during crises to support humanitarian response.

    Profile

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics coordination/management in emergency or post‑emergency aid.

  • Experience in emergency contexts and humanitarian response strategies.

  • Ability to work remotely, including capacity building and deployment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, organized, and able to teach.

  • Fluency in French and English required.
