Age: 33 - 40 years

Location: Nairobi

We are seeking an individual who is dynamic and passionate about delivering results to join our Human Resource team.

Job Summary

  • Assist to develop strategies relating to all HR policies, procedures and quality standards to ensure continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

    Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, assisting in the interview process, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.

  • Ensure the payroll is processed accurately and on time in compliance with existing regulations.

  • Ensure timely submission/filing of statutory deductions to the relevant authorities.

  • Leave management to ensure that the cost of leave is within the limits of company policy for any one period.

  • Ensure performance reviews of all employees is conducted in compliance with the procedure and action taken where applicable.

  • Manage the full employee life cycle within the organization.

  • Maintain calendars of the HR management team.

  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.

  • Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.

  • Maintain accurate digital/electronic records of all employees.

  • Manage all training sessions and seminars within the organization.

  • Assist in updating job requirements and descriptions for all positions.

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and policies.

  • Assist to arrange and schedule for all employee travel logistics and accommodation.

  • Supervise the administration operations with respect to cleanliness, procurement etc., and ensure that timelines are met.

  • Ensure efficient use of company assets and resources and their security.

  • Provide administrative support as and when required.

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest
    HR trends and best practices.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

    Personal Specification

  • 5 years working experience in a role handling the full scope of HR Management with biasness to Payroll Management.

  • Demonstratable experience managing a chain of diverse employees.

  • Extensive knowledge of the Kenyan Labour laws, payroll procedures and best industry practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is mandatory.

  • Must be a member of IHRM.

  • Utilize company systems effectively to ensure economical use of equipment and supply

  • Be creative and innovative in minimizing costs
