Human Capital Outsourcing Limited Cooks Jobs in Kenya


Job Purpose

To prepare and cook meals according to approved menus while ensuring food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals as per approved menus.

  • Ensure food quality and presentation standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food preparation areas.

  • Monitor food stock levels and report shortages.

  • Receive and store food supplies appropriately.

  • Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures.

  • Operate kitchen equipment safely.

  • Minimize food wastage through portion control.

  • Maintain daily food production records.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Support menu planning and meal preparation schedules.

  • Assist during special events and catering activities.

  • Maintain kitchen inventory and utensils.

  • Follow occupational health and safety procedures.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

    Skills & Requirements

  • Certificate in Food Production.

  • Culinary Arts qualification.

  • Food Handling Certificate.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience, institutional catering preferred.
