Hotpoint Appliances LTD Data Analyst- Operations (Modern Trade) Jobs in Kenya;Supports the department by turning data into useful insights, coordinating daily operations and tracking performance.

Ensures smooth collaboration between field and office, accurate reporting and efficient execution of trade activities.

Provides analysis that supports better decision‑making and continuous improvement in sales operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Track and report attendance of Trade Developers in stores.

  • Handle leave applications and ensure operations continuity.

  • Respond to Trade Developers’ requests and relay updates from head office.

  • Ensure adoption and proper use of Sales Force App for attendance, stock tracking and reporting.

  • Prepare fare requisitions for field teams conducting stock takes.

  • Share promotion details, product prices and dealer updates.

  • Prepare credit note summaries for promotions or price changes.

  • Process GRNs for faulty, missing or returned goods.

  • Keep Modern Trade App updated with new products and SKUs.

  • Support sales team by following up dealer orders and coordinating with invoicing, service and warehouse teams.

  • Oversee monthly stock counts and prepare reconciliation reports.

  • Review GRN data to identify return trends and suggest actions.

  • Track performance of Trade Developers and share monthly reports.

  • Prepare and validate monthly incentive reports.

  • Use Funnet App data to analyze stock levels, sales trends and market share.

  • Prepare ad hoc reports to
    support business reviews and decision‑making.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by Superior.

    Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in data analysis, sales operations or modern trade (preferably consumer electronics or retail).

  • Experience in data reporting, operational coordination and working with field teams.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and retail data tools (advantage).

    Key Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards).

  • Operational coordination skills.

  • Strong attention to detail in data entry, reporting and reconciliation.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to simplify and automate reporting tasks.

  • Effective time management and prioritization under tight deadlines.
