Responsibilities
Handle guests’ bills and invoices in a professional manner.
Maintain cleanliness and service supply at the service station.
Be familiar with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu.
Prepare the outlet for operation, including setting and resetting tables, light cleaning, and other assigned tasks.
Take food and beverage orders from guests, upselling wherever possible.
Utilize the outlet point‑of‑sales system as prescribed.
Ensure all sales are properly recorded, following procedures for ordering, voiding, or correcting items.
Serve food and beverages according to established standards.
Clear tables and remove dirty dishes to the dish area.
Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
Be flexible in meeting special requests from guests.
Follow presentation guidelines established by Management.
Serve food and beverages to guests with emphasis on speed and accuracy.
Report to the Restaurant Supervisor at the start of the shift for instructions, side duties, floor assignments, menu changes, and guest feedback.
Forward captain’s order slips to the kitchen or drinks supervisor efficiently and correctly.
Familiarize with menu items, promotions, and daily specials, including ingredients, preparation, portion size, and presentation.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE qualification.
Previous hospitality experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Must reside within Akute, Ojodu, Ikeja, Agege, or Ogba axis.
