    Our client, a market leader in Hospitality Industry is urgently looking to hire a talented and aggressive Human Resources (HRO) Officer to implement a variety of human resource programs.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative tasks and will contribute to making the company a better place to work.

    We expect you to have good knowledge of various HR functions.

    The goal is to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers by performing the following duties;

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Implementing staff induction and orientation programmes
  • Assist in administering compensation and benefit scheme
  • Serve as a link between Senior Management teams and employees by handling question, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems
  • Assist with development and implementation of performance evaluation and rewards systems
  • Assist in payroll administration and management as per company policy
  • Undertaking an inventory of vacant positions and preparing reports for decision making
  • Implementing human resource management policies, regulations, procedures and systems
    Implementing human resource decisions within existing rules, regulations and procedure; and complying with human resource statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety programs
  • Monitor scheduled absences including, annual leave, travel, sickness and coordinate actions to ensure staff absences are adequately covered to ensure continuity of services
  • Establish and maintain employees’ data including personal files and other related records by
    designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records according to policy and legal requirements
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Preparing various human resource reports
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource function

    Key Competencies & Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resource
  • Management or relevant discipline from a recognized institution
  • Higher Diploma in HR is an added advantage
    Member, Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
  • 3 -4 years’ of experience in HRO position and proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • Diplomatic approach to any associated conflicts
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine details
