Hospitality Industry Chief Executive Officer Jobs in Nairobi


A Christian-based hospitality industry organization in Nairobi is looking for qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Board of Management
  • Providing executive leadership across the Resort
  • Oversee the operations and functions of the hotel
  • Ensure full compliance to Resort operating controls,SOP's, policies,procedures and service standards.
  • Lead all property investments including capital projects and refurbishment.
  • Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget.
  • Ensure effective maintenance of Resort records including financial records, guest records, procurement records etc
  • Responsible for effective staff recruitment and creation of a conducive environment where employees can realise their potential
  • Ensure customer complaints and concerns are dealt with efficiency and effectively
  • Ensure the security of the Resort and all within it
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.
  • Ensure a high ethical bar in all dealings at the Resort Requirements
  • Diploma in hotel management from a recognised institution
  • Seven (1) years' experience in hotel management, three (3) of which should have been at a senior role in a 3 Star Hotel
  • Basic financial skills including but not limited to budgeting, financial analysis
  • Leadership and Communication skills
  • Ability to build and lead cohesive teams
