Hospital Head of Finances and Supply Chain Management Jobs in Kisii, Kenya


Our client a leading hospital based in Kisii County, Kisii Town is looking to hire the following position:

Head of Finances and Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial leadership and advice to the Finance and Procurement teams, ensuring a clear understanding by all of the financial position and Hema agenda.
  • Provide financial leadership into the budget setting, monitoring and reporting of income and expenditure, supporting and deputizing the Managing Director as appropriate.
  • Apply a high level of skill and knowledge to ensure the financial position is reported accurately each month and where errors are identified, the appropriate action is taken to address.
  • Provide financial leadership and support to the Management Team, Hema’s senior management team in the development, feasibility analysis and implementation of strategic plans.
  • Produce and maintain the short-term financial plans and the longer-term financial strategy.
  • Ensure planning regimes are in line with local and national best practice, strategic plans Ensure best use of benchmarking tools for comparison of specific indicators, to support key planning assumptions appropriately.
  • Analyze the impact of investment plans, reporting back on achievement to assist Hema’s decision making and future plans.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost saving and service redesign through advanced analytics, benchmarking and other techniques.
  • Support their implementation.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance from a recognized institution
  • CPA (K)/ Masters in Finance/Supply Chain Management would be an added advantage;
  • At least 3 – 5 years’ work experience in finance and administration in a hospital environment.
