Introduction

Hope Restoration a National Non-Governmental Organization legally registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of South Sudan in 2010 with registration number 659 and as well been registered with Relief and Rehabilitation Commission with registration number 138.

We envision a society where there is respect, justice and people enjoy dignified lives. To do this, Hope Restoration works with communities affected by conflicts in Unity State and beyond to secure livelihoods, fight gender based violence and ensure protection of those at risk, promote culture of peace and reconciliation between and among communities so that communities live dignified lives and realize their potentials.

Hope Restoration has received a funding from Norwegian People’s AID South Sudan to develop a Strategic plan and therefore seeks to hire, on short term basis, a qualified candidate for the position of a Strategic Plan Development Consultant.

Scope of Work

Rationale for Strategic Planning

A strategic plan is a management tool that serves the purpose of helping an organization do a better job, because a plan focuses the

energy, resources, and time of everyone in the organization in the same direction.

It is formalized road map that describes how your company executes the chosen strategy. A plan spells out where an organization is going over the next year or more and how it’s going to get there.

If developed, it will help HRSS to:-

Helps build your competitive advantage

Communicates your strategy to staff

Prioritizes your financial needs

Provides focus and direction to move from plan to action

Purpose

To develop HRSS strategic plan 2018-2022.

Objectives

The objectives will include:-

To develop the HRSS strategic plan

To align the organizational objectives with the strategy

To build the board and staff capacity on strategic planning

Activities

Stakeholder’s analysis

Drafting the strategic plan and desk research

Expected Output

Developed strategic plan for HRSS

Qualification

South Sudanese Nationals/ Company

Bachelor’s degree in strategic development/MBA or any other relevant discipline.

At least (3) years of working experience in strategic development.
