Key Responsibilities
Prepare beverages requested by guests using established pouring standards and drink recipes to ensure consistency and cost control.
Set up the bar including liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware, and supplies; perform pre‑ and post‑shift work.
Check bar and seating areas for cleanliness and attractiveness, ensuring alignment with company standards.
Inspect equipment and machinery for proper operation.
Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to determine when service should cease.
Greet guests pleasantly, promote, and upsell house drinks.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Food and Beverage Service, Hotel and Hospitality Management, or related field.
Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non‑alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods, and garnishments.
Knowledge in inventory management, stock control, and experience operating POS systems, handling cash, and balancing daily sales.
Formal bartending training in a 4‑star or higher‑rated property.
Good command of spoken and written English; additional foreign language is an advantage.
