Highlands Plants Limited is a horticultural and herbs farm based in Olkalou, Nyandarua County The company seeks to recruit suitable candidates to fill the following positions:

Highlands Plants Horticultural Farm Propagation Supervisor Jobs in Olkalou Nyandarua

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule the propagation and rooting house team to meet production demands

In charge of all growing and cultural techniques to support continuous improvement of quality plant material

Responsible for growing activities in an assigned section of the greenhouse; including irrigation, Pest control; and monitoring and maintaining climate as directed.

Qualifications

Degree in Horticulture or General Agriculture

Minimum of 3 years experience in propagation of cuttings (Ornamentals and bedding plants)

Should be above 30 Years.

Job Duties:

Responsible for order process, quality control.

In charge of all growing and cultural techniques to support continuous improvement of quality plant material

Responsible for growing activities in an assigned section of the rooting house including irrigation, pest control; and monitoring and maintaining climate as directed.

Participate in quality and productivity improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Degree in Horticulture or General Agriculture

Minimum of 3years experience in Propagation of cutting (ornamental and bedding plants)

Experience in bed and balcony growing.

Should be above 30 Years.
