We aim to extend the reach and influence of the HelpAge Global Network to all those in a position to help bring about our vision for older people – including Governments, regional institutions, policy makers, development partners, the private sector, UN organisations and academic institutions.

In Africa region working with a broad range of network members we will deliver this through a combination of programme, policy, advocacy and communications work with focus on our core themes of social protection, health and care, and humanitarian issues.

To achieve these objectives, HelpAge International Africa Region is seeking for qualified and experienced candidate to fill the role of Regional Program Officer – Grants and Fundraising.

The post-holder will work together with regional and country teams to develop quality programmes, proposals and reports, do donor research

and mapping funding strategies, efficient management of all donor contracts and maintenance of ADDS and support the regional, country teams and network members throughout the funding cycle.

He/she will have significant experience in resource mobilisation in a competitive environment and niche issue, good understanding of project design, project cycle management log frame development and experience in writing and reviewing quality proposals and reports.
