Healthcare Revenue Assurance Manager Jobs in Kenya

Our Client is a well-established inpatient and outpatient private healthcare facility.

They seek to hire a Revenue Assurance Manager with previous healthcare experience to work alongside the billing and finance departments in order to increase revenues for the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Determine monthly revenue forecast and identify revenue opportunities.

Reconcile cash sales and general ledger activities

Oversee billings, credit adjustments, discounts and refunds on monthly basis.

Ensure all customers’ bills are checked and verified before submission.

Ensure all contracts with insurance companies are up to date.

Ensure adherence to insurance contract rules to minimize risk of claims declines.

Regularly follow up on overdue accounts and ensure timely payments.

Develop new strategies to improve accuracy and timelines of revenue management.

Perform revenue analysis, calculation and reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Work with cross-functional teams in resolving financial and revenue related issues.
Develop, administer and monitor the admission and discharge process in the hospital.
Develop internal finance controls based on healthcare best practices.
Develop revenue recognition policies and revenue generation standards.

Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports as requested by your supervisor.

Provide assistance to team members and conduct job trainings when required.

Any other related duty assigned by your supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors in any business-related field

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, 2 of these in a managerial role

Direct experience in a revenue assurance or billing operations in healthcare required.

Certifications including CPA-K will be an added advantage

Solid knowledge of fundamental accounting principles

Strong project management & planning skills

Ability to analyze large data sets

Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

People management skills

Reporting skills

Independent self-starter and flexible team player

Experience is a healthcare set up is a MUST
