Hariss International Limited Workshop Technician Jobs in Uganda

Key Responsibilities;

• Strip and inspect faulty plant equipment and provide report in relation to the cause of the failure and the recommended spares parts.

• Deliver quality repairs to operational plant in a timely manner.

• Ensure competency in the use of workshop machines like lathe, milling machine, pillar drill etc.

• Ensure that there is proper work planning in conjunction with the Supervisor.

• Promote effective use of work plan, feedback plant data and work information.

• Ensure Health & Safety policies and standards are adhered to at all times.

• Regularly and accurately account for your activity and expenditure in accordance with departmental procedures.

• Support current/future recycling strategies within Operation Support Services.

• Performs any other task as per management request.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelors or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering relevant discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.

2-3 years experience in installation of machines and equipment’s, knowledge on lifting, transporting and aligning of machines.
