Hariss International Limited HVAC Air Conditioner Technician Jobs in Uganda

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, install, and repair air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems.

Perform preventative maintenance to increase the longevity of any HVAC system.

Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.

Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.

Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Understand the best options of equipment when it comes to heating and cooling systems and help determine which option is best for the situation.

Troubleshoot issues with a current system as they are noticed.

Conduct performance tests with specialized tools and adjust system settings to keep temperature comfortable in the home or office.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or certificate in HVAC, Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Mechanical engineering

Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating

Working knowledge of boiler systems

Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols

A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.

Prior experience working in general maintenance, plumbing or HVAC
