Handicap International Specific Needs Project Manager Vacancies in Uganda

Main responsibilities:

specific needs’ assessment and analysis

definition of the Specific Needs’ intervention strategies and positioning for emergency response

external representation

writing of emergency project proposals related to Specific Needs

operational launching of Specific Needs’ projects

team recruitment & management

reporting

Required Profile

Qualifications/training:

Degree diploma in Humanitarian Action / Development studies or social fields (anthropology, psychosocial, sociology, protection)
Experiences:

at least 3 years of experience in project management with INGOs

experience in running Health and/or Protection projects

experience in managing teams
Competencies:

excellent communication and representation skills, confidence in public speaking

English mandatory (oral and written), Arabic and/or French are an asset
