We promote all types of transportation by sea and air freight consolidation services, including door to door movements, guaranteed custom clearance and delivery to warehouse and / or project site.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure working environment by adhering to all company policies and procedures

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Supervise the daily operations of the terminal, including but not limited to loading and unloading of cargo, equipment maintenance, and customer service

Manage a team of employees, providing coaching and development as needed

Plan and coordinate work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources

Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

Prepare reports on operational activity and performance metrics

Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner

Handle escalated customer inquiries and concerns

Serve as a liaison between the terminal and other departments within the company

Assist with the

development and implementation of new processes and procedures

Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field

5+ years experience in terminal operations management or a similar role

Proven track record of successful project management

Strong leadership and team-building skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Master’s degree in business, logistics, or related field

7+ years experience in terminal operations management or a similar role

Experience managing budgets and expenses

Experience developing internal processes and filing systems

In-depth knowledge of maritime shipping regulations
