Google Education Solutions Engineer Jobs in Kenya; Outposted in a Regional Office to support the design, delivery, and monitoring of workforce plans and structural reviews at Country Office level within a specified region. Works closely with WFP management, HR colleagues, functional experts, and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as regional technical focal point for Strategic Workforce Planning and Organizational Alignment Reviews.

  • Conduct workforce analysis using data, systems, and stakeholder inputs.

  • Analyse organizational set‑ups and workforce composition; develop design options.

  • Translate analysis into clear insights and recommendations for management.

  • Support development of workforce plans and organizational design options.

  • Facilitate engagement with Country Offices, Regional Offices, HQ, HR colleagues, and experts.

  • Coordinate collection, validation, and presentation of workforce data.

  • Monitor implementation of workforce plans and structural review recommendations.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of SWP practice, tools, templates, and benchmarks.

  • Work collaboratively as part of the SWP team with analytical thinking and solution‑oriented approach.

  • Perform other related duties as required.


    Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced university degree in HR, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Business/Public Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, or related field.

  • First‑level degree with additional relevant experience acceptable.

  • Minimum 5 years’ HR management
    experience, including 3 in Strategic Workforce Planning, Organizational Design, or HR consulting.

  • At least 3 years’ international experience abroad or in multicultural teams.


    Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of workforce planning, organizational design, and HR advisory work.

  • Strong analytical skills; ability to translate data into insights.

  • Strong planning, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across cultures.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workforce planning/data analysis tools.

  • Knowledge of data visualization platforms and AI‑enabled productivity tools (asset).


    Languages

  • Excellent command of English (oral and written).

  • Knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
