Good Life Real Estate PLC is seeking to employ a detail-oriented candidate with good interpersonal skills for the position of Senior Storekeeper. S/he will also be expected to comply with the regulatory environment around working environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to think creatively about the use of space and storekeeper. S/he will also be an effective communicator with the ability to persuade in communication of storekeeper.

Senior Storekeeper Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain Receipts with GRV, Records with stock card and ledger, and withdrawals with SIV.

  • Receive and stock supplies.

  • Perform other stock related duties, including returning, Packing, pricing and labeling.

  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursement and record keeping.

  • Carry out regular count monthly or as intended by management and report inventory count report to finance and management.

  • Maintain Reconciliation of count report against stock ledger, stock card GRV, and SIV.

  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.

  • Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.

  • Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment and necessary minor repairs.

  • Ensure that the store is kept clean and organized.

  • Plan and organize a space and shelves for a new in transit inventory.

  • Observe the nature of inventory in stocks and related to matters that need management attention and report those to the management.

  • Answering questions regarding procedures and resolving issues that may arise on receipts, deliveries, repairs and surplus supply.

  • Manage customer relations as well as maintain high ethical relationships both internally and externally.

    Job Requirements

    Educational Requirement

  • Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Fundamental Knowledge of excel, Microsoft word, and computerized inventory control system.

  • Valid Driver’s license and willingness to acquire and maintain forklift certification.

  • 2 years college or vocational certificate.

    Experience Requirement

  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in stock room or warehouse environment.

  • Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computation.

  • Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management.

  • Ability to work independently with a minimal supervision.

  • 4+ years of experience in stock keeping, inventory control, or record keeping.

  • Work with computerized inventory control systems and automated storage units.

  • Evaluate storekeeping activities in order to determine effectiveness and to make recommendations concerning changes as needed.

    Technical and other skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill.

  • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.

  • Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 KG, and occasionally up to 30 Kilograms.

  • Ability to safely and legally operate forklift.
