Job Description

The Store Keeper is responsible for the receipt and distribution of property including the over all inventory of Fixed Assets and their recordings for Rural Development and Humanitarian Response Programme.

S/he Maintains a daily stock balance for the replacement of items as well as the completion of correctly recorded store documents for auditing purposes.

Diploma in Purchasing, Supplies Management or related field with a minimum of 2 years related experience preferably in NGO.

Familiar with donor guidelines; USAID/OFDA, ECHO, EHAF, etc.

Self-starter and able to work under minimal supervision.

Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.

Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment. Good computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
