Getasew Ayalew Import & Export is willing to hiring who fulfill the stated criteria for the following vacant Post position Job

Important Performance:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans and forecast to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.

  • Develop and manage sales/marketing operating budgets.

  • Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.

  • Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.

  • Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to pre-set standards and industry and economic trends.

  • Ensure effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.

  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

  • Guide preparation of marketing accomplishment reports and presents to executive management.

  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.

  • Direct sales forecasting accomplishment and sets performance goals accordingly.

  • Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.

  • Direct market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.

  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product.

  • Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

  • Analyze and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.

  • Assist other departments within the organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.

  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

  • Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotas and
    plans to determine effectiveness.

  • Direct product research and development.
    Manage all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.

    Generic Duties of the Position:

  • Prepare the Functions of work plans and monitor their execution.

  • Monitor the proper utilization of the overall budgets.

  • Identify the professional requirements of the Function and develop plan for meeting the requirements.

  • Develop the policies and procedures for the department Function and lead in their implementation and continuous review.

  • Review, approve and submit reports to relevant organs.

  • Support the development of subordinates through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, on-going performance dialogue and feedback on marketing & sales issues.

  • Oversee the systematic identification of skill and competency requirements for the Function.

  • Represent the Department in external relationships related with the Function.

    Additional Notes

  • Candidates will have experience in high value, precision manufacture to edible industry standards.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications and Expertise:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Management, Economics, Business Administration or related fields with ten (10) years of demonstrated experience out of which six (6) years at Senior Leadership level.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Economics, Business Administration or related fields with twelve (12) years of demonstrated experience out of which eight (8) years at Senior Leadership level
