Geothermal Development Company Manager - Infrastructure Development Jobs in Kenya
Overall Purpose:- Reporting to the General Manager, Drilling and Infrastructure: The jobholder will be responsible
for designing, planning and development of infrastructure projects to support drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities
Providing technical advice on infrastructural development of geothermal fields;
Ensuring project infrastructural planning and execution;
Managing all construction equipment owned and operated by GDC;
Development of projects infrastructure systems to support drilling of geothermal wells;
Planning, designing and developing infrastructure (Roads, well pads, power supply
systems, water systems, project facilities);
Ensuring implementation of infrastructural on the job safety programs; and
Ensuring compliance to safety and quality management systems.
Job Specifications
Have not less than eleven (11) years relevant work experience two (2) years should be in
Managerial role;
Be a holder of a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Mechatronics,
Electrical, Chemical, Agricultural, Bio Systems, Mining Engineering or its equivalent
qualification from a recognized institution;
Be a holder of a Professional qualification and Registered Professional by Engineers Board
of Kenya or Kenya Engineering Technology Registration Board
in good standing ;
Have a valid Annual Practicing License from the Engineers Board of Kenya or Kenya
Engineering Technology Registration Board;
Possess a Certificate in Project management skills from a recognized Institution;
Undertaken a leadership course from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer applications;
Demonstrate merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
Competencies
Good planning, organizing and coordinating skills
Strong interpersonal, analytical verbal and written skills;
Leadership skills;
Strong communications and presentation skills
Negotiation skills;
