Job Introduction

  • Working closely with the Partnerships, Marketing and Communications Leads, the Schools and Partnerships Coordinator will play a key role in identifying and expertly stewarding strategic partnerships that will scale Generation Global's reach to more students and young people.

  • This role requires someone with a proven success in partnership development and management in the education sector with school networks, education institutes and not for profit partners.
  • They will need to be able to work with a passion for education and partnerships and an entrepreneurial drive to secure Generation Global’s future.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Working with the Partnerships, Marketing and Communications Lead, identify, cultivate and manage new global strategic partnerships to expand the reach and impact of the programme, in line with its business plan

    • Conduct stakeholder mapping, analysis, and other research to identify potential partners, understand their priorities and potential areas of collaboration

    • Use professional networks to explore new partners – not for profits/ civil society organisations, youth organisations, school networks, government and private sector education organisations aligned with the programme’s vision

    • Produce and successfully deliver a targeted outreach plan for engagement with not for profit, private sector and public sector partners to tailor Generation Global's offer/s with partner needs and interests

    • Support the development and delivery of Generation Global as a white label product, where appropriate, for use by partners to widen the programme reach and achieve the programme’s goal

    • Support and maintain the database of information relating to partners, as are relevant to the development and effective stewardship of these partnerships

    • Support the Partnerships, Marketing and Communications Lead in achieving the partnership, student and teacher targets, whilst collaborating with colleagues to achieve these targets

    • Ensure funds are applied according to financial management and control policies, and within approved budgets to deliver on agreed priorities within agreed timeframes

    • Contribute to the alignment of Generation Global with the TBI mission and strategic goals, providing information where needed

    • Undertake any other responsibilities that further contribute to the Generation Global’s business plans, as required

    • Support the Partnerships, Marketing and Communications Lead in project implementation planning and managing day to day communication with partners

    • Maintain school engagement in the programme and manage relationships with key school networks

    • Develop short and long term metrics to track and evaluate success of different projects and partnerships and prepare reports as required

    • Support team members with training delivery and lead on orientation and other information sessions for new and potential partners

    • Be responsible for producing and delivering the annual partnerships
    outreach communication plan, with supporting campaigns to engage schools, education, private sector and not for profits

    • Contribute to the research, design and writing of partnership proposals

    • Position Generation Global as a trusted programme with schools and within the education sector more broadly

    • Develop outreach collaterals and other communications content such as presentations, pitch-decks, flyers, brochures, emails, FAQ documents with support from colleagues when needed

    • Collaborate with wider members of the team (eg. marketing and communications manager) to curate, plan, and deliver outreach activites and events that enhance Generation Global’s visibility externally and deepen engagement with existing partners, teachers, school leaders, and students

    • Identify strategic storytelling opportunities to share with the Marketing and Communications Manager

    • Identify speaker slots at conferences, events, and webinars, and support the team to effectively represent Generation Global externally, preparing talking points and key messages as needed

    • Be accountable for managing partner and beneficiary data, in alignment with TBI policies

    • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, project systems and processes, including those related to safeguarding, security and legal matters

    Qualifications

    • Experience of successfully identifying, cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with not for profit, public, private sector and education organisations

    • Understanding and experience of the education sector (secondary level) at a national, regional or global level

    • Familiarity with the global education networks, schools and education institutes

    • Ability to build highly effective relationships with external senior stakeholders

    • An ability to work independently, think strategically and produce and implement a partnership plan, with attention to detail, analysis with targets and timeframes

    • Excellent interpersonal and presentational skills; able to quickly establish Generation Global’s credibility with strategic partners

    • A proven ability to collaborate with others, including people from different backgrounds and cultures

    • Proven expertise in programme coordination, time management and partnership development at a global level and, ideally, within the not for profit sector

    • A proactive, self motivated individual with a passion for achieving social impact

    • Fluency in English is essential and another language, is desirable
