Job Description

Purpose of the Job/Job Mission

Material handling, stores documentation, stores reporting, material receipts and delivery at site stores and inventory control documentation. Preservation of materials.
Responsibilities and Accountability

Operational

Responsible for maintain stores area as per 5S and EHS requirements.

Responsible for verification of materials on arrival.

Responsible for verification of materials with respect to packing list and updating of stock register.

Responsible for identifying damage and missing items and documentation.

Responsible for periodic preservation of materials and documentation.

Responsible for issue of materials and stock updating.

Responsible to initiate and follow all EHS requirements as per lifting plan and risk assessment.

Provide all required inputs for reporting.

Ensure scrap identification, segregating and storing.

Follow the stores planning and instruction of stores manager.
Managerial (People)

Manages group of workers.

Ensure all resources are available on-time.

Functional/transverse (optional)

Provide feedback with experiences and lessons learned during material handling.

Specific Functional/Technical authority (besides DoA):

Access to all stores documents.

De-mobilize Site Personnel if necessary Safety Conditions are not fulfilled/met.

Measurement / Key Performance Indicators

Receipt and unloading of materials and release of the vehicle within 48 hours.

Providing inputs for

reporting within stipulated period.

No damages or missing of materials in stores.

Well maintained and managed stores and materials inside stores.

Timely updating of all stores documents.
EHS targets.

Quality of preservation.

Store documentation and regular updating.

Further Objectives, Targets and Performance Measurements are defined on a yearly basis.

Job Requirements

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

University degree (comparable with bachelor or master) non-technical.

Desirable:

Stores Management.

Experience

Mandatory:

Material handling.Experience in material handling.
