Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing Technical and financial proposals for Education related Assessments, feasibility study, training, and project evaluations.

• Preparing training materials for Teachers, data collection tools and training Enumerators for data collection.

• Lead the data analysis and draft report for any assessments, project evaluations and research studies.

• Providing strategic leadership that influences the quality and impact of Education sector programming globally. This will entail the leadership and quality control of key evidence-based intervention packages.

• Supervise the production of all activity-supported material, all activity-supported training, all teacher and classroom supervision and monitoring, and all student testing efforts.

• Provide full support for the implementation of Education responses or projects.

• Provide leadership in organizing curation of the education assessment standards, and framework, and authoring of classroom learning materials and supplemental materials that are leveled and differentiated to meet learning needs;

• Provide technical inputs and leadership for the implementation of key assessments and research (e.g. Rapid Materials Inventory, gender assessment, and Rapid Education Risk Assessment, and Literacy Landscape Analysis), assisting with the process of development and field testing to validate instruments, analyze results and adapt instruments;

• Lead Mid-term and final project evaluations in the thematic sector.

• Develop concept papers and proposals in the thematic sector when needed.

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in

education or related pedagogically oriented field;

• At least eight (8) years of experience in work specifically to improve education and teacher training programming directed to rural, ethnolinguistic underserved populations;

• Experience in developing and implementing education materials, training programs, classroom monitoring protocols and tests, and familiarity with a variety of assessments - both formal and informal;

• Prior experience with supporting family/ community engagement of education outcomes;

• 6 years’ Experience in leading consulting works such as KAP, assessments studies, and project evaluations.

• Demonstrated experience working with Ministries of Education and other stakeholders at the national and provincial levels
