Garissa County Public Service Board Registered Nurse III Jobs in Kenya


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions and evaluating patient outcomes.

  • Diagnosing common health conditions, prescribing and administering treatment.

  • Providing healthcare services including IMCI, immunization, PMTCT, ante‑natal care, delivery, and dispensing drugs.

  • Providing health education and counselling.

  • Facilitating patient admission and initiating discharge plans.

  • Maintaining patient records.

  • Ensuring tidy and safe clinical environment.

  • Collecting and compiling data.

    Requirements for Appointment

  • Diploma in Nursing disciplines (Community Health, Midwifery, Mental Health, etc.).

  • Registration Certificate from the Nursing Council of Kenya.

  • Valid practicing license.

  • At least one (1) year experience in a busy hospital.

  • Certificate in Computer Application Skills.
