Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laundry Manager to oversee our hotel's laundry operations and ensure the efficient and effective processing of laundry items. The Laundry Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel's laundry department, including staff supervision, inventory management, quality control, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laundry operations, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel's laundry department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.

Train, supervise, and motivate laundry staff to ensure high productivity and quality standards.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize laundry operations and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.

Maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies and equipment, and coordinate with purchasing to order supplies as needed.

Inspect incoming and outgoing laundry items to ensure they meet quality standards and guest specifications.

Monitor equipment performance and maintenance needs, and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.

Implement quality control measures to minimize errors, reduce rework, and enhance guest satisfaction.

Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints regarding laundry services in a professional and timely manner, and take appropriate corrective actions as needed.

Analyze department performance metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in laundry operations, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance hotel operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a commercial laundry or hospitality setting.

Strong knowledge of laundry equipment, processes, and best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.

Proficiency in MS Office and laundry management software preferred.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
