Job Introduction:

  • G4S South Africa, a leading provider of integrated security and cash management solutions, has a vacancy for a Vetting Administrator based at our Head Office in Centurion

  • Reporting to the Talent and Resourcing Manager, the main purpose of the role is to complete vetting for the purposes of internal recruitment and selection and develop reports based on reference information obtained.

  • The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation.

    Role Responsibility:

    Provide effective and efficient Vetting

    • Receive - accurately and timeously processing of all vetting requests (Band C, D, E, E2 Upper and E2 Lower)

    • Accurate and timeously processing of relevant background checks as per prescribed assessment matrixes and in line with group policy

    • Coordination, distribution and processing of relevant assessments, as per prescribed assessment matrixes

    • Conduct work enquiries (reference checking) as per assessment matrixes and in line with group policy

    Reporting and Quality Control

    • Compiling and distribution of relevant reports to applicable parties within SLA timeframes

    • Maintenance and updating of Assessment Matrixes

    • Accurate and timeously compilation/update of billing sheets

    • Quality Control

    • Maintain electronic database and filing system

    • Assist with relevant queries

    Health and Safety

    • Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the branch/ region/national safety plans for each year.

    • Participate in safety forums created by company for example safety meetings and safety talks

    • Report all safety incidents
    to the relevant people

    • Discuss all safety incidents on all levels

    • Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management

    • Attend safety education and refresher programmes

    • Comply with safety policies and procedures at workplace

    • Distribute safety information as and when required

    The Ideal Candidate:

    Qualification

    • Grade 12

    • Relevant tertiary qualification recommended

    Experience

    • 3-5 years relevant working experience within a recruitment/vetting background.

    • Relevant administration background.

    • Sound experience in Vetting (Reference Checking and Background Checks).

    • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.

    • Knowledge of selection processes.

    • Knowledge of vetting/risk assessment procedures.
