Job Introduction:

G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, has a vacancy for a Regional Training Officer based at our operations in KwaZulu Natal.

The position reports to the Head of Business Transformation/ Operations Training. The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation, and understanding the role which a Regional Training Officer plays within a successful business unit. The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation.

The position requires at least 3-5 years’ experience within a similar environment. Relevant industry related experience would be advantageous.

Main Purpose of Position

To implement all training and development technical and behavioral training solutions for operations in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements to meet business and customer needs.

Execution of training and assessments

Facilitate and provide support of identified learning interventions

Learner achievements recorded and input provided to training system and report

Liaise with management regarding learners performance

Customer requirements met during training intervention

Plan and schedule learning interventions both technical and behavioral to meet regional needs

Training Provider Accreditation Maintained

Compliance to SASSETA requirements

Training provider accreditation status maintained

Learner achievement reports maintained

Assessment and moderation reports submitted

Skills programmes certified

Submit annual audits as per SETA/PSIRA requirements

Implement actions to ensure accreditation of the Training Centres are maintained

Maintain proper Record keeping/Admin

Ensure that expense mandates follow audit procedures

Ensure an effective Training Administrative Service

Assess competency against learning outcomes of

operational employees and provide proof of

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

Must be registered with the PSiRA in private capacity

Must be registered with the PSiRA as Grade C Instructor - grade B or A will be an advantage

Must be registered with the PSiRA as CIT Instructor

Must hold a valid 5 year SAPS competency for the following firearms: handgun, self loading rifle and shotgun

Must hold a business firearms training qualification for the following firearms; Handgun and Self Loading Rifle - shotgun will be an advantage

Must be registered with the Professional Firearms Trainers Council (PFTC) as an Intermediate firearms Instructor for handgun and self loading rifle - shotgun will be an advantage. And tactical firearms instructor will be an advantage

Must be registered as a Facilitator with any of the SETA's

Must be registered as an Assessor

Moderator registration will be an advantage

Accreditation as an National Key Point (NKP) Instructor will be an advantage

Knowledge of curriculum and learning programme design

Knowledge of the PSIRA and SETA training regulations and requirements

Knowledge of Skills Development, EE , LRA and SAQA legislation

Knowledge of training facilitation, evaluation and moderation

Knowledge FCA 60 of 200
