Role Responsibility:

SOC West Operations:

Operational Delivery:

  • Manage SOC West to deliver operational requirements as required in Phase 1 and subsequently Phase 2 and beyond.

  • Carry out risk-based analysis of access data to identify potential risks to business units.

  • Review SOC workflows to improve efficiencies and cost effectiveness.

  • Support in developments of system enhancements to bring about efficiencies

  • Carry out performance measurement on SOC and vendors

    Assurance:

  • Establish and implement multi-layer assurance checks to ensure SOC activities are processed in accordance to SCB's standards, processes and meet Operational Delivery

  • Support Security Manager ensure operational delivery in accordance to SCB's standards, processes and guidelines

  • Measures SOC performance and generate SOC performance measure reports for reporting

  • Maintain accuracy of department AAA list on system

  • Process requests for reports on sensitive SIS or HR investigations.

  • Conduct remedial and refresher trainings to operators on SCB's processes

    Stakeholders Engagement:

  • Engage with countries/business units on routine and bespoke reports requirements

  • Coordinate with country security teams on operational deliverables to bring about positive staff experience

  • Liaise with department AAAs on verification checks required as per GSOS.

  • Coordinate and lead all audits (OR, GIA) conducted on SOC assurance.

  • Carry out periodic checks on transactions performed to ensure compliance to SCB's standards and meet GSOS processes.

  • Carry out control review checks with countries pertaining to access provisioning and reconciliation of access cards

  • Carry out checker role for transactions processed by Team Leader

  • Ensure access requests, approvals and reports are properly documented and filed

    Regional (Africa) Operations:

  • Manage security control room team and vendors to provide fitness certificate of CCTV/DVR/ALARM & organize inspections

  • Managing Security team and vendors for the changes recommended by government institutions to timely branches inspections, rectifications and re-inspection

  • Managing Security team and security vendors to get Security Maintenance agreement certificate

  • Managing Security team and vendor for alarm connectivity certification of all Branches

  • Managing
    the quotation for alarm connectivity fee for each branch and issuance of LPO

  • Managing Security team and vendor to collect police alarm connectivity certificate for the branch

  • Managing Security team and vendor security vendor to get CCTV photographs for CCTV cameras as & when required.

  • Managing Security team to obtain copy of attested tenancy agreements from Property leasing team.

  • Manage collection of required documents from employees for Head office trade license.

  • Payment voucher submit to Head of Security / Property for approval appropriate and further process of Cheque /cash fee payment.

  • Radio licenses application / renewal (if required)

  • Managing Security team and vendor to collect the inspection certificate from the auditing & Inspection Company.

  • After inspection approval, managing Security team and vendor to submit relevant documents to Inspection Company to get NOC.

  • Managing Security team & GRO to Prepare relevant documents to get the NOC from the waste management for trade license renewal.

  • Liaise with PRO department to get the updated staff details for each branch.

  • Once approved the Inspection, need to proceed to Economic Department with documents to get the payment voucher.

  • Managing GRO Proceed to Economic Department for payment to get renewal of trade license.

  • Radio licenses application / renewal payment annually

  • Managing police permits

    The Ideal Candidate:

  • An in-depth knowledge of protective security, fire protection, information security, crisis management, local rules and regulations setup by authorities in Africa and its adherence.

  • A thorough understanding of the bank’s business and all type permits / licensees

  • Comprehensive knowledge of bank business and how to identify and measure risks.

  • Project management and presentation skills with the ability to facilitate critical decisions.

  • The ability to analyse complex situations and translate these into concise written communication.

  • The ability to work independently under tight deadlines and with high degree of initiative.
