  • G4S Deposita, a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, has a vacancy for a Business Analyst based at our operations in Samrand.

  • Reporting to the Research, Product and Market Development Director, the successful incumbent will be responsible for formalising management information requirements, to drive product and process improvement and along with detailed feasibility studies and product reviews, drive market share growth.

  • The successful incumbent is a self starter with a proven track record in delivering on customer expectations, demonstrates a high degree of commercial acumen and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation. The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation.

    Role Responsibility:

    Sales Review

  • Review sales feedback (hurdles, positives and general comments) to use and flow the information down to the:

  • Product design team,

  • Product build team,

  • System / integration team, allowing for the feedback to be pushed back into the system for improvements

    Review new and updated product concepts

  • Business cases to validate the feasibility of new products / altered products based on cost versus income,

  • Track the Product development through the stage gate process,

  • Manage the Product deliverables through Steerco meetings aligning the interdependent teams.

    Review Product feedback

  • Review Product feedback ( call centre / complaints both internal & external, build quality) and provide input ito product, design, build and process inefficiencies:

  • Develop plans, with the relevant teams, to look at improvement opportunities,

  • Regularly
    audit quality assurance, and always consider the risk aspects,

  • Detail key findings to the team responsible for the product.

  • Analysis and report on Global Country trends in terms of Cash / “less Cash” & Cashless movements within each country and provide guidance to the relevant Product Specialists.

  • Assist with Market & Segment analysis

    Health and Safety

  • Participate in the design/development/review/ implementation and monitoring of the branch/region/national safety plans for each year.

  • Participate in safety forums created by company for example safety meetings and safety talks

  • Report all safety incidents to the relevant people

  • Discuss all safety incidents on all levels

  • Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management

  • Attend safety education and refresher programs

  • Comply with safety policies and procedures at workplace

  • Distribute safety information as and when required

    Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification recommended

  • Previous specialized industry experience recommended

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ general management experience

  • Proven experience in Customer Relationship Management

  • Relevant working experience within the same or similar role essential

  • Relevant industry experience/knowledge advantageous

  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of a company experiencing dynamic and significant change and growth.

  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), coupled with negotiation skills critical

  • Good strategic thinking, effective communication as well as strong leadership skills and capabilities
