Frontier Counties Development Council Jobs

The Frontier Counties of of Lamu, Tana River, Garissa, Wajir, Mandera, Marsabit,

Isiolo and Turkana are among the most marginalized in Kenya. Historical

and regional peace, society and economy. The endorsement of the Constitution of
Kenya 2010 and the Kenya Vision 2030 present excellent frameworks for devolved
governance, engage citizens, the civil society, the private and public sector in an integrated
and holistic socio-economic transformation process.

FCDC wants to enhance the benefits of the devolution process in their member counties by serving as a catalyst and trigger for sustainable development and prosperity in the FCDC region.

FCDC is now looking for a qualified Knowledge Management & Advocacy Officer to
strengthen the council and provide support for the production of information materials
and the organisation of briefings, workshops and events. His/her main task is to
make the right knowledge available to the right people at the right time. The KM & A
Officer will be accountable to the SFAL Coordinator.
