Job Description

Our client, an IT company in Nairobi is looking for a proficient e-DMS developer who will work across multiple teams and technologies. The opportunity provides a platform to suggest, implement, innovate and support new ideas or technologies.

Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the business solution stack. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and a quality products are essential.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Developing front and back-end APIs & applications for both technical and consumer needs

Creating servers and databases for functionality
Ensuring responsiveness of applications

Seeing through a project from conception to finished product

Staying abreast of developments in platform and associated programming languages

Troubleshooting existing solutions for issue resolution, bug-fixes and enhancements

Minimum Qualifications

Degree in computer science or in any related field
5+ years’ experience

Proven experience with JAVA technologies including, iBPS, OmniDocs, Newgen, Core Java, JavaScript, HTML, JSP, CSS, jQuery, Jboss 6.x or Jboss7.x

Extensive knowledge on iBPS modules like BAM, MDM, BRMS

Good to have knowledge and experience with SQL Server or Oracle, Server Troubleshooting, Product Logs Checking

Proven experience with Newgen APIs alongside extensive knowledge of designing, developing, and deploying Newgen products

Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, debugging, performance profiling and optimization
