Job Overview

  • The Operations Manager may officially appoint competent staff to handle specific responsibilities, but the Manager is ultimately responsible for efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Compliance and sales growth will be considered for performance evaluation and annual bonuses/salary increments.

    General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor monthly sales trends and propose marketing activities to boost sales.

  • Plan, direct, implement, coordinate, and evaluate all sales programs to achieve sales targets.

  • Handle product registration matters with the local authority.

  • Plan and organize major activities like Recognition Night, Sales Rally, Product Launching, etc.

  • Manage office matters, including resource allocation, operational issues, product complaints, and membership affairs.

  • Monitor the sales performance of Service Centres and Distributors.

  • Perform monthly stock counts and submit reports to the superior for review and approval.

  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure the effective attainment of training goals.

  • Develop training materials for various platforms.

  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate subordinates to ensure optimal performance.

  • Responsible for the operation of the country and branches.

  • Provide timely responses to queries and inquiries from HQ and superiors.

  • Respond to audit follow-up matters and take proactive action to close non-compliance.

  • Perform any other responsibilities or tasks assigned by the superior and management.

    Product Matters:

  • Update and submit monthly product registration/notification status to relevant departments.

  • Ensure compliance with local labelling requirements.

  • Liaise with local authorities for arrangements and planning related to product registration.

  • Handle product complaints and provide necessary details for investigations.

  • Monitor sales trends of all products in the country and propose appropriate actions.

  • Propose the discontinuation of products, if necessary, with approval from higher management.

  • Obtain tax duty and tax structure information for new products and submit to HQ Finance.

  • Prepare Competitor Price Study for new products and submit to HQ Finance.

  • Handle planning and activities for new product launches in the country.

    Marketing Section:

  • Prepare the new year budget and submit for approval.

  • Submit post-mortem reports of all promotion activities and events to HQ Marketing.

  • Submit promotion proposals to International Marketing Director and HQ Marketing Section.

  • Stay updated on member status achievements and trends and coordinate publicity efforts.

    Shipping and Inventory Management:

  • Prepare and submit monthly SSR and Purchase Orders.

  • Monitor stock levels and handle product shipment complaints.

  • Fill in the Product Shipment Complaint Form as needed.

  • Respond to Shipping Acknowledgment
    and Receipt Acknowledgment in a timely manner.

    Group IT Department:

  • Review and approve Sponsor Detail Correction

  • Request Form and submit it to HQ Marketing for approval.

  • Update member particulars and handle membership transfers with the necessary documentation.

  • Approve various forms and adjustments related to B2C OBS.

    Publication:

  • Provide photos and videos of marketing events to HQ Publication Department for record and website upload.

  • Maintain and update the country website content regularly.

  • Assist with local language translation for product labels and articles as needed.

  • Provide success stories and branch photos for DXN website.

    Finance:

  • Submit weekly expense reports and cash templates to Group Finance Department weekly.

  • Ensure timely deposit of daily cash sales to the company's bank account.

  • Submit monthly financial statements and payable summaries.

  • Submit the Finished Goods Checking Form after the monthly stock count.

  • Report any inventory/cash/asset discrepancies or losses to Group Finance Department.

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and proper filing of accounting and corporate documents.

  • Provide financial information as required by Group Finance Department.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years in Food and beverage operations management.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a team lead.

  • MBA or other advanced degree.

  • Proven track record of increasing revenue and profitability.

  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
