Qualifications / Work Experience

  • Academic Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Community Development Studies, or related Social Science discipline.

  • Professional Valid Certificate of Good Conduct (issued within the last 6 months).

  • Professional Minimum of three (3) years’ working experience, preferably in an NGO setting.

  • Professional Good experience and knowledge of Child & Youth Safeguarding guidelines.

  • Professional Proven ability to conceptualize, innovate, and manage programs.

  • Professional Experience with budget and financial reporting.

  • Professional Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and representation skills.

  • Professional Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in databases and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Professional Strong organizational, analytical, and programmatic reporting skills.

  • Professional Ability to work under pressure, make decisions, and multi‑task.

  • Professional Enthusiastic, decisive, pragmatic, and dynamic hands‑on individual with urgency, attention to detail, and thoroughness.

    Note: For Bungoma, Turkana, and Kilifi Counties, female candidates and knowledge of local dialects are an added advantage.
