Reporting Lines The incumbent will be under the overall supervision of the FAO Representative and the direct technical supervision of the Team Leader Resilience food and Livelihoods Systems sub programme and in close collaboration with the Inclusive Value Chain sub programme.

Technical Focus the Food Systems Analyst will be responsible for the output 3.2 of outcome 3 (CPF: 20W-2022) that is on improved food safety and reduction of food waste and post-harvest losses, besides other related cross cutting activities that will enhance awareness of food security information, food and feed standards and risk management among the producers, technical and policy stakeholders.

The position will play a pivotal lead between producers, agro-processors and county governments he sides broadly Impacting the FAO's food security programme.
