FMCG Sales and Distribution Manager Jobs in Kenya


Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all Sales Team members meet or exceed targets/expectations.
  • Evaluating market trends and behavior to be able to counteract any anticipated changes Setting weekly, monthly, and annual targets for sales volume in line with Agreed volume targets and ensures achievement of numbers.
  • Planning and directing Direct Sales Distribution targets by week, month, and annually by Distribution Rep/Salesman Planning and directing route coverage by day by Sales Man to ensure effective and efficient calls to service the market and ensure distribution is fully.
  • Tracking sales by route/ Sales Man and report to senior management on a weekly basis
  • Ensure listings in retail are done and no out of stocks are identified in the market Evaluating market trends and behavior to be able to counteract any anticipated changes
  • Ensure compliance by staff to the Law and pertaining to the revenue authorities In charge of all key accounts;
  • Ensure there is a robust replenishment plan, efficiency in order delivery and adherence to agreed terms of trade for all key accounts.
  • Handle all customer complaints.
  • Track actual Marketing spend monthly and explain variances Vs budget Assist in execution of spedfic cycle activities.
  • Set examples in areas of personal character, cornmianent, and work habits and demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in B.Com (Marketing/ Business Management or related Degree);
  • Must have at least 5+ years in similar sales management role within FMCG Industry, Beverage industry will be an added advantage.
  • Aggressive, ambitious and result-oriented individual with proven ability to lead a sales team in generating revenue against set targets.
  • Leadership skills with ability to develop and mentor a sees team. Thorough understanding of the FMCG industry.
  • Exceptional skills in communication-written, verbal, presentation;
  • Proficiency in planning, strategy & organization.
  • Negotiation and analytical skills.

    Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of zero stock losses. Maintenance of Standard stocks and Timely delivery of annual, Monthly and Weekly purchase plans.
  • Ensuring Availability of all SKUs Adherence to OHS policy provisions and Maintenance of dean and neat warehouse FIFO management for all brands and labelling of the products
  • Maintenance site/storage map Purchase plan should start from annual, monthly to weekly purchase plans and should also include preparation of an annual departmental strategy
  • Monthly reconciliations-Starting from Daily weekly and Monthly Reconciliation.

    Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in procurement (preferable) or a business-related field.
  • 3-4 years' experience in Warehouse management Has Leadership capability and able to work for long hours.
  • Must have Analytical skills, Commercial Skills and a team player.
