Purpose

To analyse customer and / or payment information to identify potential suspicious transactions and/or individuals in order to mitigate / reduce the incidence of financial crimes against the bank.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 3 Year industry related Degree.
  • 5 Years successful track record in a Management role (Financial services industry).

  • It is inherent to the role that the incumbent is honest in dealing with cash and financial transactions.
  • As such, it is a pre-requisite for candidates to undergo consumer credit record checks to enable the Employer to ascertain whether the candidate’s credit record is acceptable

    Responsibilities
  • Ensure correct invoicing and maintenance is concluded to decrease losses to the bank
    Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency.
  • Develop a service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service.
  • Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members
  • Take charge of all emergencies and ensure responsible back-ups are available in order to
    take corrective action as necessary.
  • Participate in the planning, designing, construction and maintenance of facilities by obtaining and documenting quotes/bids, evaluating proposals for specification compliance and make recommendations plus reviews and/or inspect work for quality, accuracy, and completeness
    Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
  • Develop and implement business cases for process enhancements and new processes and products within a BU. Quantify benefits.
  • Implement process metrics for measuring efficiency of all key business processes.
  • Supervises and coordinates all maintenance services and repairs pertaining to buildings and related equipment
  • Supervise and coordinate all maintenance services and repairs pertaining to buildings and related equipment by implementing all maintenance and general procurement of materials and parts, schedule installations and oversee that such repairs or installations are accomplished in a safe and timely manner.
  • Oversee the development, evaluation or review of plans and criteria for a variety of Projects and activities, assess feasibility of proposed plans, projects and equipment.
  • Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analyzing trends and data
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the business unit strategy through the development and implementation of the People Strategy and operational objectives.
  • Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of Team Leaders and teams in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies
  • Manage personal and management development to increase own skills and competencies for the managerial function and future Leadership growth opportunities.
