Financial Services Company Micro Credit Officer Jobs in Kenya

Our Client in Financial Services sector is looking for a competent candidate to fill various vacant position:

Micro Credit Officer

Job Ref: EHC/1125/18

Reporting to the Credit Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Review loan requests

Assess clients’ financial status

Evaluate creditworthiness and risks

Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation

Analyze risks and approve or reject loan requests

Calculate financial ratios (e.g. credit scores and interest rates)

Set up payment plans

Maintain updated records of loan applications

Follow up with clients about loan renewals

Monitor progress of existing loans

Person Specifications

KCSE – C+ and above

Must have at least CPA III qualifications

A graduate in Microfinance, or other business-related course from a recognized university

At least 5 years of experience handling micro credit related clients and with 2 years in a supervisory role

Aged 32 and above

Proficiency in computer applications, especially in accounting packages and systems

Knowledge of operation of various Sacco software systems an added advantage
