Field Research and Writing Up Grant

I am attending PhD program at Addis Ababa University in Social Anthropology. Currently I have completed course work , comprehensive exam and proposal and ready for field work. But I have shortage of fund for my field work and writing up. Can I get organization or institutions that can support me by research grant specific to east African countries?
