Family Bank Ltd Officer – Enterprise Applications Support Jobs in Kenya;We are seeking an Officer – Enterprise Applications Support to ensure stability, availability, performance and continuous improvement of Family Bank’s enterprise applications. The postholder will provide first‑level technical support, incident resolution, system monitoring and user assistance, maintaining optimal functionality of business‑critical systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory, risk and operational standards.

Responsibilities

Application Support & Incident Management

  • Provide support on configuration of ICT network systems.

  • Monitor ICT resources and perform advanced diagnosis of faults.

  • Troubleshoot system and network problems.

  • Document ICT infrastructure and manage inventory.

  • Support roll‑out of new applications.

  • Provide technical support and day‑to‑day administration of network use.

  • Participate in setup of new branches by installing and configuring equipment.

  • Provide general technical support to users.

  • Troubleshoot network issues and liaise with IT Network Manager.

  • Design and implement new solutions to improve resilience.

  • Maximize network performance through monitoring and upgrades.

  • Undertake fault investigations in LAN/WAN environments.

  • Secure network systems by enforcing policies and monitoring access.

  • Support and administer firewall environments.

  • Report on network operational status and manage projects.

  • Upgrade network equipment to latest stable firmware.

  • Provide remote support during installations and troubleshooting.

  • Manage IP addressing and hosted devices within data centres.

    Network Security & Compliance

  • Support implementation of Next‑Generation Firewalls, IPS and Secure
    Web Gateways.

  • Manage administration of firewalls and security devices.

  • Implement secure remote access and manage VPNs.

  • Support secure partner connections and site‑to‑site VPNs.

  • Assess network security risks and implement controls.

  • Support closure of audit findings.

    User Training

  • Train users where knowledge gaps exist.

  • Provide IT training to branch ICT contacts on basic configurations and VOIP.

    Requirements

    Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or IT.

  • CCNA and CCSA certifications preferred.

    Experience

  • 1–2 years in IT networking and infrastructure.

  • Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS and VLANs.

  • Experience with SD‑Access and SD‑WAN.

  • Configuring and maintaining firewall appliances and VPN solutions.

  • Exposure to IDS/IPS, NAC and access control systems.

  • Experience with IP Telephony and Unified Communications.
