Job Description

The Faircape Group owns and manages six luxury retirement / lifestyle villages with state of the art and technologically advanced Healthcare Centres at each Village.

These busy facilities with a versatile range of patients inclusive of frail, sub-acute and assisted living, are situated in prime locations across the Western Cape.

We are looking for a highly talented Music Entertainer (Independent Contractor) to entertain our residents at Onrus Manor.

You will coordinate all events of the musical program including setting up all equipment, creating good customer service standards, managing quality interaction with the residents and maintaining a great and comfortable environment across the continuum of living.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Provides musical entertainment

Participates in events and celebrations as requested

Outstanding performance and showmanship while performing set musical selections

Flexible with work hours and working conditions

Communicate professionally and effectively with staff and guests

Qualifications and Experience:

Expert knowledge of/training in music.

Proven relevant experience.

Own instruments

and equipment.

Attributes and Skills:

Have an outgoing and friendly personality- versatile and ability to improvise.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Friendly, clear and confident communication skills.

Good listening skills.

Time management skills.

Attention to detail.

Able to work well within a team and individually.

Specific Requirements

Own Transport.

Own instrument and e quiment.

No criminal record.

Contactable and positive references.

Vaccinated against covid-19 or prepared to be vaccinated prior to commencing job.
