ExxonMobil Maintenance Coordinator Jobs in Nigeria; The Maintenance Coordinator will assist the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring safe and efficient operations of the Maintenance Department. The role involves material acquisition, inventory control, compliance with Operations Integrity Management Systems (OIMS), and providing administrative support to enhance reliability and safety in oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities

Material & Inventory Management

  • Identify material needs, source required materials and services, and initiate procurement.

  • Obtain return authorizations, assign purchase order numbers, and arrange packaging/shipping for returns or exchanges.

  • Conduct material and contract invoice reconciliation, including receipt verification.

    Work Order & Scheduling Support

  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Planner in scheduling and execution activities with focus on SSH&E and regulatory compliance.

  • Update daily work order confirmations based on supervisor status.

  • Ensure job packs are ready for execution.

    Operations Integrity & Compliance

  • Implement OIMS practices as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

  • Take active responsibility for effectiveness of controls within scope.

    Administrative & Coordination Duties

  • Provide administrative support for maintenance operations.

  • Assist with daily work order and material coordination.

    Qualifications

  • Higher National Certificate (HNC), BTS/DUT, or equivalent in Mechanical, Materials, Corrosion, Offshore/Marine, Structural, Metallurgy, or Petroleum Engineering.

  • BSc in Engineering or related sciences acceptable with 5+ years’ verifiable oil and gas maintenance experience.

    Experience & Competencies

  • Minimum 5 years’ maintenance execution experience.

  • Strong knowledge of oil & gas
    operations, risks, and equipment criticality.

  • Versatile with Work Management Practices and CMMS (SAP).

  • Offshore or FPSO experience preferred.

  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical/instrumentation diagrams, and control logic.

  • Hands‑on skills in minor repairs, routine maintenance, and equipment adjustments.

  • Familiarity with ESD and Fire & Gas systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, hazard identification, and mitigation.
