Primary Functions

Be fully responsible for production, operation, equipment, HSE and administration of drilling team, to achieve safe, high quality and efficient production, and ensure the completion of production tasks and management contract targets the first person responsible for the safety production of the drilling team.

Responsibilites

• Responsible for overall management of drilling operation, rig personnel and rig equipment as per effective standard, policies, regulations and procedures released by ZPEB Uganda CO. Limited and TOTAL.

• Responsible for keeping good communication and cooperating with Rig Company man to ensure all operation and cases in rig site are running normally and persistently.

• Administrate all employees on rig site; Formulate management of local and non-Chinese employee as per international standards and local labor laws requirement, Assist HR department to solve employee disputes according to legal procedures.

• Observe regularly rig crews implementation status on work disciplines, process disciplines, operating disciplines and HSSE roles and responsibilities, where performance to be evaluated as per HR Department requirement.

• To be responsible for communicating with Company man to coordinate the issues of the rig & camp moves as per ZPEB Uganda CO. Limited & TOTAL standards & safety procedures.

Education:

• A University degree in Petroleum Engineering or similar qualification.

Experience:

• 15 years oilfield experience onshore, 5 years of similar position.

Capability:

• IWCF well control certificate at the supervisory level, Fire Fighting, First Aid, H2S, HSE.
