Experian Business Intelligence Manager Jobs in Uganda

Why this role is critical to us

The BI-Manager will be responsible for liaising with Participating Institutions (PIs) and other stakeholders to supply data to the bureau and providing data validation.

The BI Manager will report to the Head of IT, Data and BI.

What you’ll need to bring to the party

Excellent data development and programming skills

Good Knowledge of any statistical language preferably R, SAS is an advantage but not a requirement

Python & SQL Development

Solution architecture and development

Detailed solution and development documentation

Test case and unit testing creation

Standards enforcement

Code / process / standards reviews

What you’ll be doing

Data quality assurance and validations

Liaising with PI’s and stakeholders to supply data to Compuscan

Providing leadership and management of direct reports

Data quality assurance and validations

Liaisons with PI’s and stakeholders to supply data to Compuscan

Liaison with Bank of Uganda as regards monthly reporting

Development and input into new products, design of reports for the regulator

What is required

At least 5 years’ experience in a credit bureau or similar data driven business as a software developer compiling and linking data of risk information, with banking and financial background.

Degree or appropriate similar relevant qualifications in subject matter expertise is preferable

Excellent data development and programming skills

Good Knowledge of any statistical language preferably R, SAS is an advantage but not a requirement.
