Job Description

As the Laser System Engineer one will take full responsibility as design and specification authority for functional and life cycle performance aspects of the system.

The System Engineer also fulfills a Technical Management role to support the Project Manager during product development.

This includes technical guidance, risk management, and the management and integration of Engineering Specialties

Essential Technical Skills and Experience Required

Solid fundamental knowledge of mathematics, physical sciences, and multidisciplinary engineering technologies and design principles
Technical “negotiating” skills

Minimum 10 years track record of successful systems engineering in high-technology product development (Optical, mechanical, electronic, software) and industrialization environment
BEng. Electronic (Mechanical/ Electronic)
System Engineering qualification would be an advantage

Experience in leading engineering teams to develop products, meeting technical and other stakeholder requirements

Engineering experience across the total product life cycle from concept definition to disposal

Liaising with international customers and technical management of subcontractors

Specific product design experience in the Military Industry and Eletro-optical products
